The brainchild of two musical soul mates- Cristina Bishop and Sylvya NuVynska- SCARLET SINS serves as a rubber-room repository for their darker sides. "We're generally really happy people outside of those songs," suggests NuVynska whose throw-out-the-mold vocals serve as messenger. "Breaking Down"
Out of Manhattan's east side, 13TH FLOOR has electrified the Indie charts, appearing as an editor's pick on Indie-Music.com and featured right here with Mike Cameo an unprecedented 4 times.
"We are the unwanted love child of Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains" sites the band as one of their better descriptions; but you'll find traces of the old school rock honorees like Led Zeppelin and Hendrix mingling among the grunge. Their 2008 debut EP was recorded and produced at NYC's Skyline Studios by Grammy winner Ron Allaire (Pantera, Keith Richards) and Jonathan Mover (Fuel, Everlast, Shakira). 13TH FLOOR has played renowned NYC venues such as CBGBs, Highline Ballroom, Crash Mansion, Mercury Lounge and just completed a five week residency at Arlenes Grocery in March 2009.
